The Fontan®Portastar
produces an aerosol fog of highest efficiency and penetration. Contary
to conventional mist blowers, with or without ULV attachment, and
working with blowers with extremely high air throughput, the rotary pump
of the Portastar produces 35m³ of air only. This has the advantage
that the cloud of aerosol droplets remains concentarted and is not
dispersed or scattered too rapidly and ineffectively by high air volume.
Moreover the ULV method ensures an economic consumption of chemical
preparations. A minimum quantity processed into homogenous droplet
spectrum of approx. 2-20µm guarantees an optimal distribution and
coverage without dripping losses.
FONTAN®-a synonym for efficient economic and professional ULV
spraying. |
The ULV cold fogging
machine FONTAN® Portastar is driven by a robust 2-stroke engine. An
oil and maintenance free low pressure rotary pump produces an air stream
of high velocity being accelerated into the swirl vane of the nozzle
system. This air stream causes suction in the solution pipe and conveys
the chemical solution which is atomized into the finest aerosol droplets
at the nozzle system.
The application is carried out with a handy spraying pistol having an
on/off trigger for permanent and interval fogging.
The FONTAN®Portastar is specially designed for the dispersion of
ULV formulations and/or highly concentrated chemical preperations.
The output quantities between 1 and 6 ltr/hr meet the various scopes of
the ULV method. |
