Fontan®Turbostar-E
and
Fontan®Twinstar-E, our electrically driven coldfogging machines for
efficient combatting of insects, pests, fungus diseases, viruses and
bacteria:
Plant protection in greenhouses for ornamental plants, fruits nad
vegatables
Stock protection in silos, store rooms and production plants for food
and agricultural products, textiles and tobacco
Health and hygeine in public, private and commercial areas and in
animal keeping(pest control and inhalation, vaccination in the intensive

Fontan® cold fog
generators produce an aerosol fog guaranteeing highest efficency and
excellent penetration. The blowers provide a forced air circulation and,
with a minimum quantity of chemical preeration, an optimal distribution
coverage is achieved, e.g also the necessary under leaf coverage for
plant protection measures. There is no soil contamination by dripping
losses and chemical residues are reduced more rapidly. This technique
provides a valuable contribution to the protection of the environment.
By means of various nozzles, either the ULV or the LV application can
be employed.

Fontan® cold fogging
machines Turbostar-E and Twinstar-E are driven by electric motors. Oil
and maintenance free low pressure rotary pumps produce an air stream of
high velocity being accelerated in the swirl vane of the nozzle system.
This air stream causes suction in the solution pipe, and conveys the
chemical solution which is atomised into the finest aerosol droplets at
the nozzle system.
The low pressure system allows the use of a nozzle system with
relatively large dimensions. Thus wettable powder suspensions can be
applied without the danger of nozzle blocking. Strong electrical blowers
transport the aerosol fog up to distance of 60 mtr and distribute the
droplets evenly by a horizontal forced air circulation. |

| The Technique: |

FONTAN®Turbostar-E
and Twinstar-E have an electronic keyboard with timer. After the
selection of the starting time the entire spraying programme runs
automatically with the modes:
Agitating: Permanently to keep the chemical agent in suspension, this
function can be switched off
Permanent air circulation by fan(s) to transport and distribute the
droplets evenly, with programmable pre- and post blowing phases.
Fogging: Quantity controlled, the machines do not run a set time, but
as long as the pre selected quantity is being applied.
Flushing: At the end of the application the chemical pipes and the
nozzles are cleaned automatically with clean water. The flushing period
is programmable.
Stop: Automatically after completion of the application.
All functions can be controlled manually. The ventilators can be
adjusted in their height and are adjustable horizontally and vertically. |
